Great location close to State Street, the Zoo, and downtown with many fantastic restaurants nearby, plus just a 5-minute stroll to the Moreton Bay Fig Tree.

I enjoyed the quietness of the corner room, the 5-7 pm wine & cheese time, & the continental breakfast was more than just toast & coffee. The staff was excellent & friendly as well as very accommodating to my requests.
The queen bed could be made more comfortable with a topper mattress. There also, could be a place to put one dresser in the room.

We arrived at around 5:30pm, just on time to enjoy a glass of wine and cheese and crackers. The host was extremely helpful and gave us some great tips on where to go and stay. The complex is very colorful and has a Spanish feel. The room was located towards the side street which might be more quiet versus the rooms facing the hot-tub (which we did not use). The hotel is literally a block from the beach, harbor and boulevard. There are plenty of restaurants on the boulevard to choose from however the evening scene is really happening on state street, which is walkable (if you do not mind walking for a half hour). Over all fabulous room, the chairs very comfortable, bed perfect and shower clean. My husband and I would for sure recommend this to friends and family. For the price you can not beat it.

The hotel's location is convenient, with a short walk to a nonprofit museum and a fantastic restaurant nearby. Guests can enjoy a breakfast with a nice selection of choices, such as cereal and fresh fruit.

The facility as a whole was charming. The location was very convenient to both the beach and downtown. The staff, all two of them, were very courteous young men.
Our room was terrible. The bare linoleum floor was cracked and patched. The bath cabnetry was truly ancient. The entrance was straight from a very busy street. There is no air conditioning so, with open windows and noisy traffic, it was difficult to sleep. We paid the same price for our room as others paid for charming rooms situated on quiet pathways. Because we arrived late in the evening, from Amtrak, we were stuck with the worst room in the hotel. We won't stay there again.
